Self Catering, Pet Friendly Cottage In Anstruther, Fife
Railway Crossing Cottage is a charming detached stone cottage, with its own private hot tub, overlooking the surrounding countryside. It is situated in a peaceful rural location in The East Neuk of Fife, close to the villages of Crail and Anstruther.
It was originally a crossing keeper’s cottage on the now disused Anstruther to St. Andrews Railway. It has been beautifully and sensitively restored and extended to provide a cosy and warm holiday retreat for you, your family and friends. There are 2 bedrooms at the property, a double room and a twin/double room, and a lovely characterful open plan sitting room and kitchen/dining area. The sitting area has a cosy log burner, wooden flooring & comfy leather sofas. The accommodation is very accessible, as it is all at ground floor level, with easy access to the garden via double patio doors.
The garden is mainly laid to lawn and is secure and fully fenced. There is a second sun terrace for relaxed dining, with a wooden outside table and chairs, sun loungers, sun parasol and barbeque. We have ample parking for 2 cars at the front of the cottage. The property is pet friendly and has the added benefit of free wi-fi. EPC = D
