Family Friendly, Coastal Caravan Park In Whitby, North Yorkshire

Sandfield House Farm Caravan Park is a delightful caravan park set amongst the beautiful North York Moors and offers facilities for caravans and motorhomes. A lot of the pitches boast splendid sea views and all are level and have electric hook-ups and are on hard standing, if you prefer there are two grass pitches available.

Sandfield House Farm Caravan Park is open from March to November and has a delightful shower block with FREE hot showers, basins, toilets and hairdryer and shaver points, there is also disabled facilities and a family shower room available. Also on site there are washing-up facilities, a chemical toilet disposal point. Dogs are more than welcome at Sandfield House and ask that there is a maximum of 2 dogs per caravan or motorhome and there is a secure dog exercising field available for your convenience. The caravan park benefits from a full-sized tennis court (rackets and balls are available to borrow from reception) and a children’s playing field.

At Sandfield House Farm there is Stable Cottage, a beautiful self-catering cottage available for let all year round. The cottage consists of a fully fitted kitchen, lounge/dining room, house bathroom, double bedroom and twin bedroom.

Sandfield House Farm is ideally located just opposite Whitby Golf Club and is a short stroll from the long golden sandy beach and delightful promenade which takes you straight Whitby or at the other end of the beach is the picturesque coastal village of Sandsend.

The caravan park is just a mile from the lovely coastal resort of Whitby, take a nice leisurely walk down the promenade into Whitby or jump onto one of the many buses which pass by regularly and see what this delightful town has to offer. Explore the quaint narrow cobbled streets home to a vast array of specialist shops, museums and eateries, walk up the 199 steps to the famous Abbey ruins or spend the day on the beach or take a tour on an open top bus or on the lovely North Yorkshire moors Steam Railway which travels from Whitby through many pretty moorland villages towards Pickering and Esk Valley.
