This historic, galleried cottage is located on the original Natchez Trace about 1.5 miles from the scenic Natchez Trace Parkway. There are three lovely guest rooms. The Mahala Ford Room, with a queen sized bed, and the Garrigues Room, with a pair of twin beds, can be reserved by phone as a suite or as separate guest rooms. The Mahala Ford and Garrigues Rooms can only be reserved as independent guest rooms when making online reservations. Also, there is the bright Mary Potts Room with four large windows and a pair of twin beds. Private bathrooms are located just down the hall. You will have access to the kitchen/laundry/breakfast room, meeting area and a history room with information/artifacts about the home's local, state and national historical significance (see our website). A complimentary, full Southern breakfast is served to order in the home's breakfast room. The re-vitalized Kosciusko court square, bustling with quaint shops, fashions, food and fun, is located just one block away. Don't miss the old time barber/beauty salon, drug store, dime store and flea markets. The Hammond-Routt House is a good choice for parties of 2-5 persons requiring separate beds.
