Rural, Friendly Bed and Breakfast In Algonquin Highlands, Ontario

Stouffer Mill Bed & Breakfast offers a truly special holiday experience. The unique construction of our 12-sided, circular, post and beam home with suspended rooms has provided much enjoyment for our guests. Our home is situated high on a hill with a spectacular view of Halls Lake and the forest beyond. The comfortable guest sitting room overlooks the lake and has a cozy fireplace and TV/DVD. The B & B level has a coffee maker, a microwave and a small refrigerator. Free high speed WiFi.

The hot tub room is located on the third floor with 360° view of the lake and surrounding hardwood forest. Breathtaking view all four seasons. WHAT A PLACE TO RELAX!

The swimming pool is surrounded by a huge deck with lounge chairs, picnic tables and a barbecue. There is a camp-fire pit for your enjoyment.

Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the front deck overlooking the lake, weather permitting. Our guests rave about the breakfasts and you can be assured that everything is home made with care and flair. You probably won’t want much for lunch after you enjoy Jessie's 4-course breakfast.

While you are here, take time to walk or snowshoe on one of our three beautiful, well marked trails and experience a close touch with nature and the seasonal changes that transpire in the forest. One of the trails leads to a large active beaver pond.

A beautiful 45 minute drive from Stouffer Mill B & B takes you to the west gate entrance to Algonquin Park. An itinerary of interesting things to see and do on the way to the park, as well as the Algonquin Park Annual News is provided along with our suggestions as to the highlights of the many things to see and do in the Park.

About 50% of our guests are international and their country flag will be flying while they are in residence. As I am typing this, the Union Jack and the French flag are flying for our international guests that are here now.
