Owners David and Iván welcome you to their charming accommodation in the village of Júzcar in the Genal Valley where you can escape all the pressures and stress of urban life and return to nature. Experience the pace of traditional Spanish living while relaxing on the terrace, sampling a "clara de limón" or a frosty beer and tapas as you enjoy the marvellous views that the lush chestnut tree country of the Upper Genal Valley has to offer.
El Bandolero, constructed in a rustic style in 2001, offers tapas, creative cuisine and delicious desserts along with the creature comforts of country living. The small hotel consists of eight spacious double rooms including two suites, a restaurant, bar and terrace, a chocolate shop, lounge, swimming pool and terrace, and has WiFi hot spots gratis for hotel guests. Six of the spacious double rooms have wood-burning stoves & terraces with stunning views of the valley and mountains. All rooms are individually decorated in a rustic style, have en-suite bathrooms and include coffee/tea facilities, televisions, fans and heating (no air conditioning).
Sample the delicious cuisine of Chef Ivan Sastre Pascual, a Cordon Bleu trained chef with work experience in some fine London restaurants; sip a refreshing "tinto de verano" (red wine and lemonade over ice) on any one of El Bandolero's terraces, taste the tapas, relax and let the views carry you away.
Hotel Bandolero is also very well situated to be your base whilst you visit other popular locations in Andalusia such as Marbella and the Costa del Sol, Gibraltar, Tarifa, Jerez de la Frontera, Seville, Granada or many white villages in Seville, Malaga and Cadiz provinces.
