Large Group, City Located Lodge In Pemberton, Western Australia

Pemberton's newest group accommodation space

Designed for groups and people who want to explore and discover our National Parks, tracks, hiking trails and local wineries with their friends and families. Opening specials available!

This accommodation includes group discounts on local tours, transport and bike hire – and is an incredibly social space where you can relax around the BBQ with a game of minigolf at the end of the day or take a stroll through town to enjoy the restaurants and bars available a short walk away.

The Bunkhouse is essentially one large dorm style accommodation place with a separate living space, huge deck, BBQ gazebo and 9 hole Minigolf course; all located on the main street in Pemberton.

Here are a couple of suggested itineraries for you to start with! Remember to book your tours in early!
Day 1: Arrive and settle in for the afternoon. You may like to purchase items at the local butcher, bakery and IGA for your stay. Size yourselves up for Mountain Bikes – you may like to hire them over your stay (the Pemberton Mountain Bike park is at the end of Swimming Pool Rd – you can see it from the front veranda!). Bunkhouse Discount 20%
Dinner – your choice! BBQ in or eat out!
Day 2: Explore Pemberton – on a guided journey through our National Parks. We suggest starting your stay with a trip on our ‘Beach & Forest Eco Adventure tour’ a 4 hour tour through the Yeagarup Dunes to the coast. This tour is an advanced ecotourism accredited tour and gives you enough knowledge to be dangerous (aka you will leave the trip with a little more appreciation for the region and the things you will be doing for the rest of your stay). Lunch is included on this trip! Bunkhouse Discount 20%
Complete your day with a stroll around town – we are 3km from the Gloucester tree – one of the Tallest fire lookout trees in the world! Check out the cafés and nearby wineries before choosing where you will eat for dinner (or eat inhouse).
Day 3: Time to take a hike – grab the map and we’ll drop you off on the Bibbulmun Track near Stirling Rd (Included) – a beautiful 14km walk via Big Brook Dam back to Pemberton following the banks of the Lefroy. You may like to detour to Hidden River when you meet the dam (a beautiful winery restaurant around 2km from Big Brook – ring and book beforehand!) before returning to the trail and making your way home.
On your return why not celebrate with your friends; head to the tapas bar or book in a wine tour for the afternoon Bunkhouse Discount 20% (or save that for tomorrow)… or if you feel the need for more forest explore the self guided Karri Forest Explorer Drive. Maps are available in the foyer.
We have many options for longer stays! With canoe tours and river cruises, 4WD tag along tour options and camp outs with our forest glamping.
