Countryside, Comfortable Apartment In Albany, Western Australia

Charnigup Farm Bed and Breakfast is situated in rural South West Western Australia, 25 minutes from the regional centre of Albany. You may choose to self cater or breakfast option.

We offer quiet, private accommodation in a unique owner-built house, with a strong emphasis on sustainable living, on a 100 acre cattle farm. Accommodation at Charnigup Farm is in a private wing with its own bathroom and entrance, attached to our own home by a connecting door, and is like a separate flat.

The guest wing is tastefully and comfortably furnished and fully equipped to sleep one to two adults, and is not suitable for children under 12 years. The queen sized bedroom has views out towards the Porongurups and Stirling ranges and the garden. The guest sitting room/kitchenette has facilities for self catering. BBQ facilities are available in the nearby gazebo.

The farm overlooks spectacular scenery across rolling countryside.

World heritage National parks, such as the Stirling Range, The Porongurups, Two People’s Bay and Torndirrup National Parks are less an hour’s drive. Treetops tree walk and the Fitzgerald National Park are two hours’ drive away. Pristine coastal scenery and wonderful beaches are twenty minutes from home.

The Great Southern region is famous for its wines and wine-tasting outlets. Visit several vineyards, producing award-winning wines, as little as 15 minutes’ drive away.

We are a favourite destination for those interested in local birds and Western Australian wildflowers. Both are found in abundance in our garden and on the farm. We are centrally situated in one of the world’s top biodiversity hot spots. As keen amateur botanists and bird lovers we relish sharing our local knowledge with our guests.
