IdealPlaceToStay.com is a growing database of places to stay around the world, allowing users to search and view all types of accommodation in their preferred destination. Accommodation owners can add their details to the database FREE of charge and accept booking via their usual booking methods, without paying any commission on bookings received, and without having to manage another availability calendar.

How much does it cost to add an Accommodation?
It is FREE to create a Hosts profile, and it is also FREE to add Accommodation. There are no hidden costs and we don't even charge a commission on any bookings you receive.
If there's no fee, how does the site make revenue?
Around 10% of accommodation owners opt for a Featured listing. We charge a small fee for Featured listings which generates some revenue for advancing and promoting the site. No-one is obligated to purchase a Featured listing, but many accommodation owners do see the value in it.
Will you send me lots of emails asking me to upgrade?
We get asked this a lot. With the exception of one email letting you know that your listing is live on the site, we will not send you any email about upgrading, nor will we try to sell you anything else.
Do you offer paid advertising?
Yes, optionally we also offer Featured Accommodation listings at £79.00 (50% off if purchased at the time of submission) for one year. Featured Accommodation are displayed above all other Accommodation on location pages and search results, are featured in the members area, and displayed regularly on our home page.
Hosts are not obligated to upgrade any of their Accommodation to Featured listings. However, we do recommend a Featured listing to get the best results.
How much commission do you charge on bookings?
We do not charge any commission on bookings. Our role is simply to introduce potential customer to your services. We do not play any part in the booking transaction.
Do we have to manage yet another availability calendar?
No, we found that most accommodation owners already have a preferred method of taking bookings, such as via their own website, a channel manager, or a booking engine, so we allow accommodation owners to link directly to the booking service they already have in place.
Can I edit my Accommodation listing?
Yes, you can edit your Accommodation listing at any time. Not only that, but the Accommodation Owners Console allows you to view up to the minute statistics, showing how many times you Accommodation has been viewed, and how many people have clicked through to your website.
There are no contracts, and there is no back of house availability to manage. Customers will book with you via your usual booking systems, such as your website, your preferred bookings system, phone or email.
I offer many different accommodation options, can I add them all?
Yes you can, there is no limit to the number of Accommodation listings you can add.
We understand that if you offer many different Accommodation options it may be quite time consuming to add them all at once. If you do not have time to add them all right away, we recommend that you add your most popular Accommodation options first and then add the rest over a period of time.
Will you give or sell our details to any third party?
No, never. When you submit your details, you do so over a secure, encrypted connection, and will only display the details you want us to. Your email address will never be visible, and you can even opt to hide your address if your wish. We do not sell, rent or give any details to any third parties.
